The eleventh issue of bio::blogs featured atips & tricks supplement, produced by contributions from bioinformatics bloggers. This received a positive reception in the bioinformatics blogosphere, and after comments and limited discussion, it was generally considered a good idea to continue the concept.
The aim of these articles is to generate something useful for the bioinformatics community, from contributions of anyone who's interested. The first article will be on open science.
